Dr. Samaneh Omidghaemi

Dr. Omidghaemi received her doctorate in Optometry from the Southern California College of Optometry in 2011. She was honored as the winner of first price for the senior research project.
Dr. Omidghaemi is glaucoma certified with over 13 years of experience in special contact lens fitting, pediatric/geriatric optometry, diagnosing and treating ocular pathology. Dr. Omidghaemi got her bachelor’s degree in Biomedical engineering from University of California, San Diego. She then worked with a team of researchers at Jissan Research Institute and led a team towards the mathematical olympics of 2007. She dedicated most of her undergraduates to research.

She enjoys an active lifestyle of yoga, outdoor sports with kids, and creative adventures. Her hobbies included writing, reading and research. She spends most of her free time with her two wonderful kids, Milan, 7 years old and Ayla, 5 years old. Milan is a very passionate soccer player with the hopes to make it into the world cup one day and play alongside Messi. Milan is very interested in politics, his goal is to be the future president in 24 years. Milan also enjoys music; he loves to sing and play guitar. Ayla is ready to be an entrepreneur, as she has joined girl scouts. She loves to socialize and make new friends, she does gymnastics and piano and she wants to be a baby doctor, one day.
